      • Day 1 Arrive in La Paz

        Arrive at any time. We’ll meet you at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or begin exploring the city at your own pace.
        La Paz, the highest administrative capital in the world, sits at 3,600 metres above sea level. Take it easy today and give your body time to get used to the altitude.

      • Day 2 Tiwanaku Day Trip & Crafted Pottery Experience

        After breakfast, we will drive for one and a half hours along a fully paved road to visit Tiwanaku, known as the Cradle of American Civilization. This archaeological site is one of the oldest in the Andean world, renowned for its monumental structures and the remarkable precision of its construction and decorative techniques. You will explore the Tiwanaku Museums and several impressive ruins, including the Akapana Pyramid, the Kalasasaya Temple, the Sun Gate, the Fraile and Ponce monoliths, and the semi subterranean temple.

        You will also have time to appreciate local craftsmanship, featuring finely carved stones inspired by ancient monoliths, traditional Tiwanaku and Aymara amulets, and beautifully crafted pottery such as ceremonial vessels, incense burners and small replicas of the Sun Gate. We will take you back to your hotel in downtown La Paz at the end of the day.

      • Day 3 Isla del Sol and Copacabana Day Trip

        The excursion begins with a three and a half hour journey toward Lake Titicaca. Our first stop is the Strait of Tiquina, where everyone disembarks to cross the water by motorboat. On the opposite shore, we rejoin the vehicle and continue along the lakeside route, enjoying beautiful panoramic views. Upon arrival in Copacabana, we take a short city tour that includes a visit to the town and its historic church.

        Afterward, we board a private motorboat to the southern side of Isla del Sol, considered the birthplace of the Inca Empire. Here, we explore remarkable pre Columbian sites such as the Yumani Staircase, the Inca Fountain and the ancient Pillkocaina Palace, all framed by stunning views of the Royal Andes Mountains. Lunch will be served on the island.

        Once the visits are complete, we return by boat to Copacabana and then continue back to La Paz.

      • Day 4 La Paz Walking Tour, Valley of the Moon Visit and Cholita Wrestling Experience

        From the hotel, we begin a walking tour through the historic centre of La Paz, where you will discover its cultural and architectural richness. We visit the main square Pedro Domingo Murillo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Congress and the Government Palace (exterior views), before continuing to the Museum of Precious Metals (closed on Sundays). We then head to the Killi Killi viewpoint for panoramic views of the city and the Illimani mountain, as well as a replica of the semi subterranean Tiwanaku temple.

        Next, we travel to the southern part of the city, where the landscape and architecture change noticeably, and visit the Valley of the Moon, an impressive natural formation shaped by erosion. You will also experience the city’s cable car system, enjoying sweeping views as we move through different districts. We pass through the bustling 16 de Julio Fair and later return by cable car to Jaén Street for the famous Cholita Wrestling show, a vibrant expression of Indigenous pride and contemporary Bolivian culture.

        Our visit continues to El Alto, where you will see the colourful Andean buildings known as “Cholets,” an architectural style that reflects Bolivia’s social and cultural transformation. Their bold designs and symbolic geometry make them one of the most distinctive features of the city.At the end of the tour, we will take you back to your hotel in downtown La Paz.

      • Day 5 Flight to Uyuni - Salt flats tour and Incahuasi island exploration

        Your driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the airport for your flight to Uyuni. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the offices, where you can enjoy some free time for breakfast (approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour), to be arranged on your own.

        NOTE: If you request Breakfast at the Hotel Cielo & Sal/Casa de Sal/Kachi (and do not have breakfast in a cafeteria in the city), it must be requested 24 hours in advance; the additional cost of  Breakfast  is 10 USD per Person. If you would like dinner at the same hotel, please add $ 15 per person, 24 hours in advance.

        At an agreed time, visit the Train Cemetery in Uyuni, then, we visit the town of Colchani to see the manual salt process, the artisanal salt market, shops with llama and alpaca wool fabrics, hats and ponchos.

        You can also see the piles of salt, the saltwater eyes, the monument to the Dakar rally, the plaza of world flags, the first salt hotel (now a restaurant museum), where lunch will be held, especially when it is cold and windy with dust.

        Visit the giant salt structures: salt ladder, also called stairway to heaven, salt pyramid, salt clock, giant salt hand and the salt condor.

        Picnic lunch on salt flats, tablecloths and colorful pillows (if the weather permits).
        After lunch, visit to Incahuasi Island which is characterized by its giant cacti, where we will take a walk to the top of the island, where you can see the salt flat in its entirety. 

        On the way back, we will make stops to take photos and videos in perspective, sunset with red wine and snacks. Overnight in Uyuni.

      • Day 6 San Cristóbal Day Tour

        After breakfast, we begin our journey toward San Cristóbal, a small mining town known for its striking high-altitude landscapes. From here, we continue to the impressive Valle de Rocas, an area filled with dramatic rock formations sculpted naturally by wind and time, creating a unique desert scenery.

        We then travel to the viewpoint of the Ollagüe Volcano, which rises to 5,865 meters above sea level. From this lookout, you can observe fumarolic activity emerging from its active crater, offering one of the most captivating views of the Altiplano.

        The tour continues through a series of beautiful altiplanic lagoons, including Cañapa, Hedionda, Honda, Chiarcota and Ramaditas. These colourful lakes, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, are essential feeding and resting points for different species of flamingos during their migratory routes. Their contrast of turquoise waters, mineral landscapes and pink flamingos creates one of the most iconic scenes of the Bolivian high plateau.

        At the end of the day, we will take you to your hotel.

      • Day 7 Siloli Desert & Laguna Colorada Full-Day Tour from Uyuni

        After breakfast, we begin our journey toward the Siloli Desert, one of the highest and driest deserts in the world. Here you will see the Árbol de Piedra, an iconic stone formation shaped by centuries of wind erosion. We then continue to Laguna Colorada, the gateway to the Eduardo Abaroa National Reserve, famous for its deep red waters and large colonies of flamingos.

        The route continues toward the Sol de Mañana geysers, a geothermal area filled with bubbling mud pools and steam vents, followed by a relaxing stop at the Polques hot springs. We then cross the Dalí Desert, a surreal landscape of wind sculpted rocks that resemble scenes from Salvador Dalí’s paintings.

        Our next stop is the viewpoint of the majestic Licancabur Volcano, from where you can admire the emerald waters of Laguna Verde. As the final attraction of the day, we visit the nearby Laguna Blanca, known for its striking white mineral deposits.

        On the return journey to Uyuni, we pass through the Valley of Rocks and the colonial church of San Cristóbal before continuing back to town. Upon arrival in Uyuni, we will transfer you to your hotel.

        Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight to La Paz.
