Visit Leticia's Brazilian twin city, Tabatinga and spend time browsing its main shopping street. Embrace the colourful local mood and be amazed by the view of the spectacular Amazon river. Then, at sunset, visit Santander Park and admire the ballet of thousands of parrots flying to the park's trees where they spend the night.

      • Day 4 Transfer to The Heart of The Jungle, Calanoa Reserve

Be prepared to disconnect from civilisation and liberate your adventurous side; it's time to explore the heart of the Amazon Jungle! To start the day, we will go to Calanoa reserve, a little slice of paradise, where you can settle in your beautiful jungle lodge built by artist-owner Diego Samper.

Walk around Mocagua village and learn about its inhabitants' day-to-day lives that haven't changed much over the centuries. This community plays an essential role in protecting endemic wildlife that they often rescue from illegal trafficking. Take a meditative walk and immerse yourself in the spectacular Amazon biodiversity. Observe its breathtaking landscape, huge old trees, colourful birds, fantastic insects and maybe even some rainforest animals.

Spotting larger wildlife is more likely during the night, therefore, we will guide you on a nocturnal expedition through the jungle. Here, you can gain knowledge about various species, discover the advantages of medicinal plants, and listen to captivating stories about the indigenous tribes inhabiting the area.
